Some time ago, Andy Hertzfeld (or someone associated with him and his book, Revolution in the Valley), setup the site Folklore.org. Folklore.org is an invaluable and highly detailed collection of stories about the development of the original Macintosh and (less so) its predecessor, the Lisa.

If you want to lose yourself for a few hours in fantastic computing history, make sure you visit Folklore.org.
